Anger Management Activiy

Now, Dave is 50. He is far away from his old life. He's desperately alone and less confident than he used to be. Everything has changed after that night. After Dave started to take anger management course, everything seemed hard on him. Everyone said that he had an anger problem but Dave didn't want to believe that. As Dave insisted on not accepting this, nothing went well. He realized that he should take a step and change his life, so he proposed to Linda promising that he'd get over it if she'd stay with him. They engaged and everything was going great. One night, on that night, when came home, he couldn't find Linda anywhere and he couldn't reach her. He started to wait for her in the porch. A black car stopped in front of home. the car seemed familiar to Dave. It was Andrew's car and Linda was in it. Dave waited for Linda to come home patiently. She saw Dave, smiled at him. Dave tried to smile but he couldn't do. They got home. Dave wanted an explanation, however, Linda was so indifferent that Dave lost his temper. They started to yell at each other. Linda was saying " Stop it! Please, stop! I'm begging you, Dave! ". Nevertheless, things got worse. Dave hit her face and Linda began to cry. That didn't make Dave calm, he couldn't control himself as he thought about Andrew and Linda together. Then, he woke up. He saw his hands and clothes in blood. He was scared and tried to find Linda. When he found her, he just didn't want to believe. she was lying on the floor... After everything, he is watering his Linda's favourite flower, trying to praise her memories.

Reflection Task 1B

   Hello, today I will introduce you to a singer and pianist whose voice I've fallen in love. Her name is Dominique Dillon de Byington, but she uses just "Dillon" as her stage name. She was born in 1988, Sao Paolo, Brazil but she has been living in Germany since she was 5 years old. She began making music when she was still in her teens.  She started to be recognized when she posted her homemade performances on YouTube. For her debut album, she worked with a Turkish guy, Tamer Fahri Özgönenc. Finally, "This Silence Kills" was released in November 2011. 

  I discovered her while I was listening to different song recommends on Youtube coming across with her "Thirteen Thirtyfive".

 As her name, her voice is unique. You cannot focus on lyrics while you listen to her. You are just possessed by her enchanting  voice. Besides her voice, lyrics of her songs also make you feel really complicated. While you smile, you can also feel broken-hearted.

1. Grace must pay special attention to the amount of protein in the food she eats because she is a vegetarian. So, she eats a lot of beans and eggs.

2. When Grace first became a vegetarian, she missed eating meat since she had always liked the taste of it.

7. Grace becomes irritated when people question her motives for being a vegetarian and feeling that she is doing her share to protect animals. Although she tries to be patient with such people and make them understand the vlue of saving animals, people often just don't understand.

   Hello, I'm Büşra. 35 years ago, I was born in Gaziantep. Because of my father's job I have lived in different places from Turkey like Gaziantep, Siirt, Akşehir, Soma, so I could meet different cultures, customs and people. 

 I got my high school education in Soma Anatolian Teacher Training High School. I have graduated from  Deparmant of Foreign Language Education in Middle East Technical University. I lecture in this department at METU. I got my Ph.D. degree in English Language Teaching 8 years ago. 

 In my university years, I had a lot of opportunuties to be able to do sports, go abroad and improve myself. I have been playing ultimate frisbee in my leisure time for over 10 years. I have played in different ultimate tournaments in and out of Turkey. I have learned Italian and Spanish in METU. I have improved those in Comenius and Erasmus programmes and I can speak both fluently. However, those are not enough for me. I'm trying to learn Russian in these days because I love learning new languages and meeting interesting things.

 I'm also interested in following tv series and films in languages that I know and making subtitles for them. By doing this, I can make my free time funny, effective and improving. I love singing song and I dabble in it. When we come together with my friends, we prepare mini concerts or we join coirs for charity works.

  I think I could make my dreams come true and I love my life. I hope I can find the one with whom I can share the excitement of life in this site.
